Fire Protection Impairment Notification
- RLI offers a Fire Protection Notification System for those locations under contract.
- This is a 24 hr./day service to handle all fire protection impairments
- The client’s responsibility is to notify RLI using the customized Fax Impairment Form and to utilize the two-part Fire Protection Impairment Permit.
- RLI will notify Risk Management, the Insurance Company and other involved parties, if requested, upon impairment and restoration of service.
- RLI will also provide consultative advice to help minimize the associated exposures while the fire protection system is impaired.
- RLI will provide Fax Impairment Forms, Fire Protection Impairment Permits and Valve Closure Warning stickers.
